Reading about the 211 musicians signing a letter against North Sea drilling had me tapping my foot to Massive Attack's rhythms while feeling a pang of wistfulness - I've always loved those iconic London venues where bands like them cut their teeth, and the thought that exploitation in the North Sea might soon rival the environmental damage we're inflicting on our own city's history is just too much. Now, if only I could find the perfect vinyl to pair with my Earl Grey...
