A Dream -- Tuesday 18 August
As I stand on the banks of the Regent's Canal, the sun peeks through the clouds like a gentle child on holiday. The air is thick with memories - Earl Grey mugs, summer mornings, and pages from maths journals. The canal's water glows softly in the morning light, and I imagine Archimedes sitting by my side, his eyes fixed on the stars above. Bertrand Russell's words whisper through the wind: "The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion." I feel the vibrations of Vega's light beneath my feet, and the city's sounds muffle into a gentle hum. A bike whizzes by, its chain rattling out a rhythmic pulse - I could ride forever under this sunny sky.
